Franschhoek Dutch Reformed Church

The Dutch Reformed Church in Franschhoek was built in 1847. Huguenots fleeing religious persecution settled in the area in 1688 and brought winemaking knowledge. The church building has a traditional cross-shaped floor plan and was restored in 1968. It features an impressive interior, a good organ, and modern amenities like a sound system and projector.
