Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve

Located in the Breede River valley on the road to McGregor, about 15km south of the historic town of Robertson, Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve is set in a starkly beautiful landscape, dominated by patches of succulents, dwarf trees, shrubs, and patches of sweet-thorn trees. The reserve offers a variety of activities such as hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, star gazing, and more. Several fully-equipped self-catering accommodation options, each sleeping up to 8 people, are also available.
