Hiking at Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve

Making up part of the greater Boland Biosphere Reserve, the Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve is situated in the Franschhoek Mountains, and encompasses an array of scenic hiking trails with panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness and winelands. It is home to a diverse range of indigenous fynbos flora, as well as wildlife such as baboons, buck and a host of smaller mammals and reptiles.
