Kleinplasie Open Air Farm Museum

This living open-air museum offers a glimpse into the early pioneer farming lifestyle in the Western Cape from 1690 to 1900. It preserves both the architecture and activities of the time. Visitors can witness various historical practices such as blacksmithing, bread baking, tobacco rolling, and more. The museum features a range of buildings and items, including a Cartwright's Shop, Town House, Lime Kiln, Khoi-Khoi Huts, and an extension showcasing agricultural development up to the 1940s. There are on-site amenities like a tea room, restaurant, curio shop, and a nursery.
