About Franke Tower
Located in the city of Omaruru in Namibia, Franke Tower is a tower built in honour of the German captain Victor Franke who led the troops who defeated a Herero attack on the city in January 1904. The tower was declared a national monument in 1963 and holds a historical plaque and offers views over the city.
