Centre ValBio

Centre ValBio is located adjacent to Ranomafana National Park in the southeastern part of Madagascar. The park consists of tropical rainforest that lies approximately 90 kilometres west of the Indian Ocean on the east-facing escarpment of Madagascar’s central high plateau. With an environmentally friendly design, including a green roof, solar panels, and local materials, the building reflects Centre ValBio’s mission to promote world-class research while respecting the rainforest. Built along a hillside, the five-story building is accessed by a bridge from the main CVB entrance.
