Taita Hills

This mountain range consists of three hills called Dabida, Kasigau and Sagalla. Taita Hills is an extremely fertile area, famous for its lush forests and featuring over twenty different species of African violets. Bird watchers will enjoy an abundance of avian life, including the extremely rare Taita Falcon, an ancient species that was recorded in Egyptian hieroglyphics. With several nature reserves and sanctuaries in close proximity, Taita Hills is the ideal destination to take in some beautiful scenery and interesting wildlife.
