De-snaring in Navaisha

For two days your contribution to the protection of Kenyan wildlife will have you in the poaching
‘hot spots’ in the bush and game parks outside of Nairobi and specifically around Lake Navaisha. One Horizon and Africa Network for Animal Welfare have partnered to give you an opportunity to take part in de-snaring. And at all times you will help up plot the location of snares to identify the poaching hotspots. And you will also get up close to the hippos herds on Lake Navaisha as well as private time at an elephant orphanage where you will see the active conservation methods being used
