Every Child’s Birthday at Waterworld

At One Horizon we just want kids to be kids. And as our youngsters live in the slums of Nairobi, many without parents and many who don’t know their age…. we think they deserve to be able to do what most kids do…..have fun. We call the day - ‘Every Child’s Birthday’. With each volunteer responsible for one or two kids we head up to Water World …. a watery adventure park where kids can be kids. And keeping up with them is the challenge as they paddle, wade, waterslide or spend time on the bouncing castle. And of course lunch and hungry kids will keep us all busy. For these kids, the day is something they never forget. For our volunteers it’s an incredible experience.
