About Statue of Ahmed
Ahmed was an elephant bull that roamed the plains of Marsabit National Park and was such a magnificent specimen that he was, by Presidential decree, guarded around the clock. When he died his tusks were recovered and they weighed in at 67kgs each. His skeleton and tusks are on display in the museum.
