About Nyayo Memorial
Located in Nairobi, the Nyayo Memorial was built to celebrate ten years of President Moi’s Nyayo philosophy and twenty-five years of Kenyan independence. Made of Italian marble, the four sided monument is surrounded by water. Nyayo means footsteps.
