Eating Stone Orphanage

Located just outside of Nairobi in the rural area of Gikambura, Kenya, Eating Stone Orphanage provides a refuge for children orphaned by the AIDS pandemic, by the 2007-8 post-election violence and for abandoned children. The home was founded in 2006 by Dr Cyprian Lumumba of Kenya and become a registered NGO in 2015. On-site is the primary school, Wisdom Academy, with classes Pre-Primary through Class 8.
