About Simba Col

Simba Col is a high-altitude pass on the slopes of Mount Kenya, the second-highest mountain in Africa. It is one of the possible routes for trekkers who want to reach the summit of Point Lenana, the third-highest peak of the mountain. Simba Col has an elevation of about 4630 meters above sea level and offers scenic views of the surrounding valleys and glaciers. It is named after the Swahili word for lion because of the lion-like rock formations near the pass.
