About Point Lenana

Point Lenana is one of the three peaks of Mount Kenya, the second-highest mountain in Africa. It is also the only peak that can be reached by trekkers without technical climbing skills. Point Lenana stands at 4,985 meters above sea level and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the glaciers, lakes, and forests of Mount Kenya National Park. The peak's name comes from the Maasai chief Olenana, who permitted the British explorers to climb the mountain in the late 19th century. Point Lenana is a popular destination for adventure seekers who want to experience the beauty and challenge of Mount Kenya.
