Mount Elgon National Park - Kenya

Mt. Elgon is one of Kenya’s most beautiful national parks with vast areas of untouched forests, full of towering Elgon Teak and cedar trees, and with good game viewing to enhance the natural beauty. Mount Elgon, Kenya’s second highest mountain, is studded with deep ravines and calderas, waterfalls and hot springs, sheer cliffs and several intriguing caves which, thanks to their rich salt deposits, are a great attraction for the local elephants, which file into the caverns after dark to lick the salt from the walls.
