Mwingi Game Reserve

Meru National Park, Kenya

About Mwingi Game Reserve

Bordering various reserves in the Mount Meru region in Kenya, the Mwingi Game Reserve is a designated wilderness activity zone. The remote reserve is set on unspoiled land and is accompanied by hot and arid conditions. Nature enthusiasts can embark on camel and horseback safaris, go fishing on the Tana River and visiting the former home of Joy Adamson at Kampi ya Simba. Visitors will be able to view a variety of wildlife which roams freely between the neighbouring reserves such as elephants, hippos, leopards, lions, antelopes, and including several bird species.
