Shela Beach

Backed by dunes dotted with coastal scrub, Shela Beach extends for 12 kilometres along the coast, stretching round a tranquil bay that offers great swimming. It’s a great place to take kids, with camel ride, donkey rides and dhow rides all on offer, and seashells scattered liberally across its white sands. There are no shops at Shela, so be sure to go armed with water, sun protection and snacks if you plan on spending some time there.
