About Lamu Fort

The Lamu Fort is a community centre for the people of Lamu and among other things houses the Public Library and an exhibition space. From the rooftop there are great views over Old Town and the courtyard is available for weddings, meetings and theatre productions. The Fort is open daily from 8am to 6pm.
