Rimoi National Reserve, situated in Kenya’s Kerio Valley along the Great Rift Valley escarpment, spans 66 square kilometres of protected terrain. Visitors can enjoy adventurous game drives, birdwatching, and bush camping near Lake Kamnarok, with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and predators such as leopards. Notably, established in 1983, the reserve was gazetted to safeguard wildlife from poaching and remains a peaceful, uncrowded destination.
