Rimoi National Reserve

Rimoi National Reserve is a protected wildlife sanctuary in the Elgeyo Marakwet County of Kenya. This conservation area covers an area of about 66 square kilometres and is known for its rugged terrain and stunning landscape. It is home to several wildlife species, including elephants, buffalos, leopards, hyenas, and antelopes. The reserve is a crucial habitat for the endangered De Brazza's monkey, a rare primate species found in the area's riverine forests. The local communities work with the Kenya Wildlife Service to protect this critical habitat. Rimoi National Reserve allows visitors to engage in game drives, bird watching, and guided nature walks.
