Lake Kamnarok National Reserve

This diminutive reserve currently offers no accommodation, but is a good game viewing spot, sheltering elephant, bush pigs, giraffe, waterbuck and a plethora of water birds and other avian species. The floor of its deep valley is covered predominantly with thorn scrub, contrasting with semi-tropical vegetation on the surrounding slopes.
