Krokovango Crocodile Farm

Krokovango Crocodile Farm is ideally situated on the banks of the majestic Okavango river, a short drive from Shakawe in Botswana. The farm itself is massive, housing over 10 000 Nile crocodiles with between 4000-5000 crocodile eggs bred each year. Research projects are also conducted at the farm by research institutions throughout the year. Guests can not only enjoy learning about crocodiles and watch them being fed but also do some fishing, bird watching or have a quiet picnic, finishing off the experience with a visit to the curio shop.
