Kalahari Botswana, Botswana

About Charles Hill

Charles Hill is a small settlement in far eastern Botswana’s Ghanzi district, seven kilometres from the Namibian border. It is made up of various ethnic groups that live peacefully side by side. The town has grown rapidly in recent years and has an ATM, money exchange facilities and a fuel station, as well as shops and a few bars. Cultural tours to outlying Kalahari San villages will allow you to interact with these indigenous people, who have lived in this region for thousands of years, and experience some of their rituals such as traditional dancing. Bush walks led by San guides can also be arranged.
