Gabane

Gabane is the fourth largest village located in Botswana's Kweneng District. Home to the BaMalete tribe, the settlement is headed by the Kgosikgolo, a traditional chief. Agriculture and pottery making are the major economic activities in the Gabane. The village is also famous for its successful football teams, modern fashion trends and lively entertainment scenes. Franco and Afro Musica and Matsieng are some of the live bands that emerged from Gabane.
