Southern Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda

About Wild Frontiers Lion (Predator) Tracking

Wild Frontiers Lion (Predator) Tracking allows visitors to participate in monitoring some of the birds and mammals that fill the park, and learn habituation calls, as well as monitoring weather, surroundings and behaviour. Results are added to researchers’ databases, contributing valuable information to the overall understanding of wildlife ecology. Available activities include Mongoose Tracking, Lion Tracking and Hippo Census. Participant numbers are limited in order to reduce stress on the animals. Tours last between one and three hours. They usually take place in the early morning or evening, or occasionally at night.
