L’Avenir Cellardoor

L’Avenir’s elegant tasting room was inspired by the flair and sophistication of French bistro culture. Depending on the season guests can enjoy a glass of Pinotage in front of the cosy Cellardoor fireplace, or a refreshing glass of Chenin Blanc in the tranquil countryside setting of the gardens next to the farm’s lake. A selection of wine tasting and food pairing options are available. Guests can choose between the classic Provenance Tasting (R60) and the exclusive Single Block Experience (R80). More specialised comparative tastings of Pinotage and Chenin Blanc are also available, while extraordinary tastings of older vintages can be arranged by appointment only. For the L’Avenir cheese and wine experience, the estate pairs five South African kinds of cheese with carefully selected wines. The L’Avenir Cellardoor experience is memorable, authentic and elegant.
