Capensis Wines explores the potential of Chardonnay across South Africa’s Western Cape. Drawing on a winemaking history that began in the 1600s, the focus is on vineyard sites in Stellenbosch, Overberg, and Robertson. The project reflects a broader movement following 1994, when renewed global interest led to careful site selection and grape matching. Capensis sources only from vineyards that meet its quality standards, with no regional limitations beyond the character of the land itself.
