Lebo's Full Day Bicycle Tour

Lebo's offers fun and informative tours in various neighbourhoods in Soweto, allowing visitors the opportunity to experience the Soweto life and culture and a chance to interact with the local people. The Full Day Bicycle Tour includes stops at all the landmarks in this part of Soweto, including a stop at the formal migrant workers’ hostel, a tour through the vibrant community of Meadowlands, a stop at the historical Hector Pieterson Memorial, a cycle through the squatter camp area and a visit to the famous Vilakazi Street where Nelson Mandela lived.

Cyclists get an opportunity to stop at different food stalls and a shebeen (local pub) along the route, tasting popular township snacks, food and drinks. The duration of the tour is 8 hours and cyclists need to be moderately fit, with good cycling skills. The tours depart daily and include bicycle, helmet, a local tour guide and a traditional meal at Lebo's outdoor restaurant after the tour.
