The Sani Pass In The Footsteps Of The Bushmen is a historical hike in the Drakensburg mountains which highlights not only the caves and rock art of the indigenous Bushmen tribe but also the flora, fauna and natural history of the Drakensberg mountains. The tour includes an accredited guide and permits to the exclusive rock art sites within the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park. This full day hike is about 7 km each way with an altitude gain of around 250m. Moderate fitness is required and the tour departs from Sani Lodge at 08h00 and returns around 16h00, depending on the pace of the group.
