Fugitives' Trail

The Fugitive’s Trail is a historical walk that follows the very path taken by fleeing British soldiers after their momentous defeat by the Zulu army in the Battle of Isandlwana. The trail begins at the great rock of Isandlwana and ends at Fugitives Drift on the Buffalo River, where many British soldiers drowned, or were caught and killed.
