Timbavati Safari Lodge Non-Bush Walk is not about the big 5 but the small 5. There are a huge variety of bugs, insects and reptiles that can be seen, and it does not stop there. The bush is filled with many legends and historical stories, medicinal and traditional uses of the plants that are often only known about through the locals.

The area is an interesting niche ecosystem with some smaller wild game and prolific bird life, together with the smaller inhabitants of the bush. Flora and fauna are varied but visitors can expect to see zebra, kudu, blue-wildebeest, impala, grey duiker, bushbuck, warthog and occasionally leopard and hyena.
