Established on July 3rd, 1890, Kimberley Golf Club is a historical landmark in South African golf. Originating during the era of the Diamond Fields, the course began with unique features such as sand putting greens and dynamite-blasted fairways. Today, it offers a player-friendly parkland layout designed by Bob Grimsdell, adorned with Elliot grass. The course transitions with the seasons, boasting lush greenery in summer and a frost-kissed landscape in winter. The clubhouse, known as the 19th hole, exudes a welcoming atmosphere, highlighted by the annual "Festival of Golf," drawing hundreds of players.
