Modderfontein Golf Course

Located in the quiet neighbourhood of Edenvale, Modderfontein Golf Course is set amidst verdant greens and tree-lined fairways on the East Rand of Johannesburg. The club boasts excellent facilities, attracting over 40,000 rounds of golf annually. Originally named the Modderfontein Dynamite Factory Club, the course was inaugurated in February 1939 with the esteemed presence of Bobby Locke as the guest of honour. A meandering stream traverses the course, adding to the challenge, particularly on the outstanding par-4 18th hole.
