About FNB Stadium

The FNB Stadium is an 87 436-seater stadium situated in Nasrec, Johannesburg. Also known as Soccer City, the stadium has been the centre of historical events, starting with the first speech from former President Nelson Mandela in 1990. The venue has hosted some of the most significant sports and music events, including the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It is also a preferred podium of choice for the Soweto derby that involves two South African Premier Soccer League football giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. International rugby test clashes and the most prominent global music superstars, such as U2, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, have hosted concerts at this iconic stadium.
