Super Tubes

Jeffrey's Bay, South Africa

About Super Tubes

In 1964, a group of Capetonians pulled up to a rocky point at Jeffrey’s Bay and surfed what is known today as one of the top ten surf spots in the world. Jeffrey’s Bay is famous for surfing and especially for Supertubes, considered by many South African surfers to be the best wave in the world. Home of the International Billabong Pro surfing competition, this fast and hollow right-hand point break is internationally famous and attracts thousands of surfers every year.
