Shangana Day Tour with Performance

The Shangana Cultural Village lies midway between the Blyde River Canyon and the southern Kruger National Park. The chief and his family host a midday tour through the village, which includes a traditional lunch in the Chief's Kraal, followed with a performance by the local Shangana villagers. The performances vary per tour and guests are entertained by either traditional dancers, the traditional choir, interactive drumming, the marimba band or combinations of these. The Midday Tour lasts for about one and a half hours, and guests also receive an opportunity to visit the village's traditional healer (sangoma).
