Sabi River Sun Golf Club

Located near the Kruger National Park, Sabi River Sun Golf Club is a 71-par 18-hole course famous for its resident hippos and the Mpumalanga Lowveld surrounding it. The golf course itself offers a variety of water hazards and sand traps, beautiful fairways and opportunities for some long drives. There are 5 par 3, 9 par 4, and 4 par 5 holes. The 16th is a favourite for hippo spotting in the dam parallel to the green. At its longest, the course measures in at a relatively modest 5534 metres (depending on the tee) but has enough variety to challenge all player levels. Resort residents benefit from reduced green fees for 18 holes, there are golf cars available for rent, and the course is open to both affiliated and non-affiliated visitors.
