Charihandra Game Lodge Guided Addo Game Drive

The Charihandra Game Lodge offers a guided Addo Game Drive, where an experienced and enthusiastic guide will locate as much game as possible during the drive. As the drive lasts all day, guests will likely have the opportunity to see most game species. The first few hours are usually good for spotting antelope, zebra, and lion. At 10:30, there will be a stop for a tea/coffee and a rusk break, after which the drive will continue. Sightings of elephants and buffalo are usually good in the late morning near the waterholes. At lunchtime, another stop will be made to serve a delicious South African “braai”, consisting of three types of meat, salads, and rooster brood. A delicious vegetarian option is available upon request. Refreshments include red & white wine, beer, tea or coffee, fruit juice, and mineral water. After lunch, the game drive continues and leaves the park at around 17:30 to return to the lodge. The trip includes pick-up and drop-off from the lodge and entrance fee into the Addo Elephant National Park. Guests are recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock, a hat, a camera, and a warm sweater in winter or cooler weather.
