White Shark Ventures

White Shark Ventures has been operating for over 24 years in Shark Alley in Gansbaai, known for its dense population of great white sharks and recognised worldwide as the single most successful area to view the great white shark. White Shark Ventures provides a custom-made catamaran, all diving equipment and a daily-inspected cage, which can comfortably accommodate up to 5 divers. The catamaran propellers are specifically designed so that they lift entirely out of the water when required.

Facilities include bus transfers from Cape Town to Gansbaai, visitor centre directly at the harbour, a retail shop, camera rentals, a shark expert on each tour and a professional wildlife videographer on each tour. The one day tour includes a continental breakfast before departure, a hot lunch on return, snacks and drinks on board the boat, educational information and safety briefing, as well as surface viewing for non-divers.
