La Rochelle Tours Half Day Wine & Safari Tour

The Wine and Safari tour combines two highlights of many a guest’s visit to the Cape Winelands and South Africa – Wine and Wild Animals. On this half-day Wine and Safari Tour, guests will experience a 1.5 hour to 2-hour game drive as well as taste some beautiful wines from within the Cape Winelands region. The tour will start with a 4x4 game drive within a 220ha Wildlife Sanctuary. Visitors on this Wine and Safari Tour are guaranteed fantastic sightings of a diverse population of antelope including, but not limited to, Gemsbok, Zebra, Eland, Springbuck, Red Hartebeest, Bontebok as well as other small mammals and birds. On a clear day, one has a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains overlooking the Cape Peninsula. After this amazing safari experience, we will taste some wine on one (perhaps two wine estates - time permitting) where we can sample and enjoy the delicious nectar of the Gods.
