About Rafting Réunion Rafting in Reunion Island

Rafting in Réunion takes place throughout the year on the magnificent Marsouins River, with a variety of boats available: the Raft, the Airboat, and the Canoraft. The Marsouins River flows through the Takamaka Valley, renowned for its spectacular waterfalls and record-breaking rainfall, before reaching Ilet Coco, the site of their adventures. The journey takes place on the upper part of the river where the most exciting rapids, such as “Megarisse” and the famous “Déchirator”, are located. A brief stop is made in Bethlehem for a Tarzan-style jump from a mango tree, and in Bassin Noir for an “aquaplouf” in the currents. This activity is open to everyone, starting from the age of 6, and includes a state-certified guide accompanying participants.
