Erongo Wilderness Nature Drive/Paula's Cave

Located within the Erongo Mountain Nature Conservancy near Omaruru, The Erongo Wilderness Lodge offers a variety of leisure activities to its guests. One of these is a scenic 4X4 drive through the wilderness to Paula’s Cave; one of six sites of rock paintings in the massive granite outcrops known as the Klippdachs on the western edge of the conservancy. It takes about an hour and a half to reach the site and the drive can be done in the morning or afternoon. The afternoon drive includes a sundowner at the rock art site and a slow drive back searching for nocturnal animals with the help of a spotlight.
