The Living Museum of the Mafwe

Opening in 2008, overlooking the Kwando River, The Living Museum of the Mafwe is a cultural highlight in the Caprivi, north of Namibia. The Living Museum is an authentic open-air museum where guests can learn a lot about the traditional culture and the original way of living of the Mafwe. Offering insight into the life of the Mafwe, visitors can partake in interactive programs such as weaving traditional nets and tasting meals.
