Batis Birding Safaris Brandberg Excursion

This excursion takes visitors to the largest mountain in Namibia at 2573m above sea level. It comprises of a large inselberg of granite and has numerous valleys and gorges which offer not only good opportunities to view many reptiles and birds but also larger animals such as Hartmann’s mountain zebra, oryx, springbok, kudu, and leopard. The focus of the excursion is on the Herero chats, Benguela long-billed larks, Rüppell’s korhaans, Ludwig’s bustards, Gray’s larks, and the various birds of prey.
