Snorkling / Freediving in Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique, goes hand in hand with our freediving excursions to Techobanine reef. Beginner or Advanced you will enjoy snorkeling in Ponta do Ouro. You have a good chance seeing reef shark, turtle, dolphins and sting rays. You might want to enrol in a diving course afterwards. Freediving and Snorkeling is a growing sport in Southern Africa.

We strongly believe this expedition is a Safari in itself. On the water we will be constantly looking for any activity in the surface besides sharks, like baitballs, dolphins, turtles and whales. In the big blue you will always have a surprise of some sort.

Join us for an educational Ocean Safari. Our trips range between 1 ½ and 2 hour with a pre briefing. We meet for a briefing at our dive centre where we inform you on our marine fauna. The trip then starts as we heading north to go to our snorkel reef. On the way we look out for breaching humpback whales, turtles and manta rays. As we go along we provide information on currents, weather, coastal dunes structure etc. In season (July - January) we sight breaching humpback whales and whale sharks.
