Mlibizi Resort

Mlibizi Resort is one of Africa’s best kept secrets, privately owned and located along the great shores of Lake Kariba, a sheer mecca for holidaymakers. Still evenings can be enjoyed around the braai as one watches the sweet swish of the quiet waters and the local birdlife settles down.

Lake kariba’s waters are studded with islands and fringed by mountains and bushland, a sight not easily forgotten. The lake supports a large wild animal population along with spectacular bird life. The fishing is generally excellent and sensational sunsets are guaranteed. The resort consists of 17 chalets situated on the edge of this great lake. Chalets vary in size but all are comfortably furnished and equipped for self catering. Chalets are serviced by an attendant and include linen.

There are two swimming pools and pontoon rafts can be hired on a daily basis. Fuel is available and there is a small shop catering for basic dry foodstuffs and drinks (including alcohol & bottled water). Ice is available on request.
