The Jungle Gorilla Lodge
Overlooking the primeval Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and with stunning views of the forest canopy across a serene stream, Bwindi Lodge is one of Africa’s unique lodges.
The property has dramatic views of the impenetrable forest and is a great place to spot the monkeys and birds hidden in the foliage. During 2021 two new delxue bandas have opened, standard bandas have been rebuilt and upgraded, and the lounge and library have been reimagined.
The award-winning Bwindi Bar, in the high street of the village nearby is the most stylish and colourful bar in the area! Guests also enjoy informal tapas style meals inspired by Ugandan dishes. It’s the Harry’s Bar of Bwindi! Guests can make their ‘rolex’ wrap and the delicious Gorillini Cocktail, a must-have after a gorilla tracking in Bwindi! The bar was set up by Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust to train disadvantaged local young people in hospitality.

Guest Bandas
• 10 newly renovated luxury bandas. 8 standard rooms (6 doubles and 2 twins) and 2 deluxe bandas (2 doubles). All rooms offer spectacular views of the forest. No guide/tour leader rooms available at the lodge.
• All bandas are complete with en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilet, double vanity and shower with hot & cold running water.
• Each banda has a private terrace overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with scenic panoramic views.
• Personal butler service for all guests.
• The Forest Spa Humula mw' Ishamba opened in April 2018. This is being extended to create a larger forest spa and sauna and will open in mid-2023. One 50-minute complimentary massage per guest per stay. Extra massages are available at $50 per 50-minute massage.
• Full board accommodation including all soft drinks and regular and premium alcoholic beverages including cocktails, cellar collection wines and single malt whiskies. Guests pay for French champagne only.

A creative blend of the culinary highlights of Ugandan and European dishes are served using freshly grown ingredients, including the traditional "Luwombo" chicken wrapped in banana leaves.

Bwindi Bar
At the award-winning Bwindi Bar informal local tapas are served in the wonderful garden overlooking the forest. Guests can even make their own "rolex" wrap. It’s like the Harry’s Bar of Bwindi!
In 2015, the VSPT officially opened the Bwindi Bar, located near the Volcanoes Safaris Bwindi Lodge on the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The bar provides a practical training institution for local disadvantaged youths living near the Bwindi National Park in Buhoma.
