Songa Migrational Camp follows the path of the Great Migration, relocating twice yearly between northern and southern Serengeti. Guests are granted a front-row seat to the procession of more than two million wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle as they traverse the great grass plains.
In its southern location, Songa is situated within Maswa Game Reserve, an exclusive-use wildlife protected area bordering the southern Serengeti. The camp's prime positioning amid the region’s sweeping short grass plains offers guests exclusive access to the herds during their calving season – without any other tourists around.

Tented Rooms
Songa Migrational Camp has 8 exquisite en-suite tented rooms, each with an indoor shower, flushing toilet and double vanity. All tents can be set up as twin/king and can accommodate an extra bed (stretcher bed). The decor takes inspiration from the camp's striking setting, from the inky blue skies to the burnt orange sunsets that herald the day's end.
Please note, from 15 June until 6 October 2025, Songa Migrational Camp will have 10 en-suite tented rooms.
Family Tent
Songa Migrational Camp has 1 spacious family tent with 2 en-suite rooms and a shared lounge. Each of the two bedrooms can be set up as twin/king and can accommodate an extra bed (stretcher bed). Each tented room features an en-suite with an indoor shower and a double vanity.
Dining & Cuisine
Breakfast
Enjoy a continental-style spread of fresh fruits, cereals, homemade yogurt, and freshly baked pastries. A selection of hot breakfasts are also on offer.
Lunch and dinner
Lunch and dinner are a selection of 'family-style' sharing plates for the table.
In-room dining
Available by prior arrangement.
Al-fresco dining
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or sundowners in the camp's al fresco dining areas (weather dependent).
Picnics
Picnic breakfasts or lunches can be packed in hampers for full-day activities.
Breakfast box / sundowner box
Breakfast box: tea, coffee, milk, and specially prepared breakfast treats for your morning game drive.
Sundowner box: soft drinks, preferred alcoholic beverages, and snacks for your afternoon game drive.
