About Little Okavango Camp
Nestled between the Serengeti and Lake Victoria, Little Okavango Camp is a beautiful gem placed in one of the best areas for bird viewing in Africa. Located just 10 minutes from the Serengeti Ndabaka Gate, the lodge is the perfect place to start a safari adventure and regular sightings of zebra, wildebeest, plains game and elephants can be seen not far from the camp.
The accommodation offers ideal bird watching opportunities due to Lake Victoria being home to hundreds of bird species. While staying at the lodge, guests can visit a nearby fishing village and meet local fisherman whilst learning about the traditional way of life on this vast lake. This is usually done in combination with a boat safari afterwards along the lake into narrow water channels to a fantastic Little Okavango tower where guest can enjoy brunch whilst taking in views from 3 decks. Alternatively, guided canoe safaris can also be enjoyed from the camp. Accommodation is in beautiful en-suite tented rooms set on large wooden platforms with terrace. Dinner is under the stars or in the intimate restaurant. This is a great way to start or end a Serengeti safari.
