Bab's Camp

Babs’ Camp is located on a private conservancy in one of the best places for wildlife in Saadani National Park. The camp lies on the edge of unique salt flats where guests can observe how wildlife has adapted to the unique terrain. Babs' Camp is a 20 metre-high tower complete with 2 en-suite rooms sleeping 2 and 4 respectively, with private restaurant and bar and even a crow’s nest where guests can relax and watch for animals and enjoy wonderful 360 degree views of bush and Indian Ocean in the distance. Guests are hosted by their private team of guide, chef and waiter. From here we offer all safari options including a wonderful opportunity to walk on the open salt flats and study footprints before the hide tide removes them. Babs Camp is at heart of the Babs lion pride territory. These lions often den within the mangroves, potentially just a few hundred metres from turtle nests on the beach.
