About Nyasi, Auberge Safari
At the convergence of sweeping savannahs and the Mara River’s meander, the secluded Lamai Wedge rewards with a rare sense of seclusion. Here, Nyasi unfolds in the shade of acacias, as much a part of the landscape as the trees.
Seven tented rooms and two family suites line grass-framed paths beneath the trees. In each, the classic safari aesthetic is reimagined with custom-designed furnishings and bespoke linen in a palette inspired by the Serengeti sky. Embodying the wild’s tranquil side, Nyasi is designed for restoration as much as adventure, with quiet lounges that offer respite between drives, and a spa and gym tent that invite deeper relaxation as the sounds of the Serengeti carry through the canvas walls.
The crossings run from July through October and can happen at a moment’s notice. When word comes that the herds have gathered at the banks, you set off with your private guide and vehicle. Between crossings, the days are spent driving the plains, with picnic lunches on the riverbank and sundowners under pastel skies.

Tented rooms
Nyasi has 7 en-suite tented rooms. The refined interiors draw their inspiration from the camp's striking surroundings and the vibrant cultures that call the region home, while the comfort-led bedding ensures an excellent night's sleep after a day exploring the wonders of the wilderness.
All tents can be set up as twin/king and can accommodate an extra bed (stretcher bed). Bathrooms are en-suite, comprising a double vanity, flushing toilet, and fully plumbed indoor shower.
Family Suite
The two family suites consist of two en suite tents adjoined by a lounge tent. As each tent has its own bathroom and can zip closed entirely, privacy is ensured, making this idea for friends travelling together, as well as families. Sumptuous and comfortable interiors ensure that this camping experience is one like no other. Interiors are inspired by the colourful cultures and natural surrounds found in Tanzania.Greet the dawn with a morning wake-up call and tea, coffee or hot chocolate delivered directly to your tent. All tents can be set up as twin / king & can accommodate an extra bed (stretcher bed). Bathrooms are en-suite, comprising a vanity stand with a pitcher of water, a flushing toilet, and a shower which is filled with hot water on request. Toiletries are provided.

Dining & Cuisine
Breakfast
Enjoy a continental-style spread of fresh fruits, cereals, homemade yogurt, and freshly baked pastries. A selection of hot breakfasts are also on offer.
Lunch and dinner
Lunch and dinner are a selection of 'family-style' sharing plates for the table.
In-room dining
Available by prior arrangement.
Al-fresco dining
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or sundowners in the camp's al fresco dining areas (weather dependent).
Picnics
Picnic breakfasts or lunches can be packed in hampers for full-day activities.
Breakfast box / sundowner box
Breakfast box: tea, coffee, milk, and specially prepared breakfast treats for your morning game drive.
Sundowner box: soft drinks, preferred alcoholic beverages, and snacks for your afternoon game drive.
